What Is Sociotherapy
What sociotherapy is (and isn't)
Sociotherapy helps you navigate your social environments: home, work, and community. We look at the roles you play, the spaces you move through, and the patterns that show up when people and systems meet. The work is practical: reading a room, advocating for yourself, changing how a team or household operates.
Sociotherapy is not licensed psychotherapy or clinical mental-health treatment. I do not diagnose or treat mental illness. When someone needs clinical care, I refer to licensed psychotherapists, and I welcome referrals in return from clinicians whose clients are wrestling with workplace, relational, or community dynamics rather than a clinical condition.
If you're not sure which you need, say so in an intro session. Sorting that out is part of the work.
Sociotherapy is the individual and relational application of clinical sociology.
